1.6.1.2.2–Control HRI Warnings and Barriers (Pspec*)
This process is responsible for initiating the activation of HRI barriers at active vehicular and pedestrian grade crossings. When a request is sent to activate the HRI barriers perhaps because of a detection of an oncoming train, this process sends the device control signal to the Manage Device Controls process to activate the barriers. This process also returns state information to the Maintain Device State process concerning the commands that have been initiated by this process.This Pspec is associated with the Roadway Subsystem*.
